James Lee

Dr. Lee was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, where he resided until college.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Pacific Union College with a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in both cellular and environmental biology.  Dr. Lee continued his education at Loma Linda University with a Doctorate of Medicine.  During medical school he spent time in Chad and Uganda, where he developed his passion for surgery and working in underserved communities.

Dr. Lee went on to complete a residency in General Surgery at the University of Arizona – Phoenix, where he was awarded the Medical Student Educator of the Year during his chief resident year. He spent a significant amount of time in Anchorage as part of his general surgery training and is delighted to be back. He is board certified in General Surgery.

He completed his plastic surgery training in New Orleans at the Tulane University/Ochsner Plastic Surgery program. During his time in New Orleans, Dr. Lee was trained in the latest advanced surgical techniques and was exposed to a wide variety of head-to-toe plastic surgery, with a special emphasis in breast reconstruction as well as aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Lee aims to produce results of the face and body that are both natural and functional, with a detail-oriented and personalized approach.  Dr. Lee is committed to achieving the best possible results with safety as the highest priority.

In his spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys time with his family, playing guitar, being outdoors, and watching Northwest sports.
